StaySynx List your place

StaySynx via ChatGPT

Find a place to stay, or run yours, via ChatGPT

StaySynx connects guests with the places to stay across South Africa. Add StaySynx to ChatGPT once, and you just ask.

For guests

Say where, when and how many of you. ChatGPT searches the StaySynx directory and live specials, and with your yes, asks the places that fit whether they have space. The place then contacts you, and you book with them directly. No account needed.

  • “Find a self-catering place near Margate for 4 people, 11 to 14 December.”
  • “Any specials on the KZN South Coast this October?”
  • “Pet-friendly places in Port Edward that sleep 6.”
  • “Ask the places that fit if they have space for us, 2 adults and 2 kids.”

For owners and managers

Sign in with your StaySynx login when ChatGPT asks. It can then work with your places:

  • Guest requests: see who asked about your place and mark each one contacted, offered, booked or declined.
  • Your calendar: bookings from Airbnb, Booking.com, LekkeSlaap and direct, in one list; add a direct booking or block dates.
  • Specials: post a deal in your own words; it shows on staysynx.com and to guests asking ChatGPT.
  • WhatsApp updates: your managers, owners and cleaners get this week's bookings on WhatsApp, each on the topics they pick.
  • “Show my guest requests from StaySynx.”
  • “What are this week's bookings at my places?”
  • “Block Seaview Cottage from 20 to 22 October.”
  • “Add a direct booking for the Smiths, 5 to 8 November.”
  • “Post a special: 3 nights for the price of 2, first week of November.”
  • “Send my cleaner this week's bookings on WhatsApp every Monday.”

ChatGPT always shows you a change first and asks before it makes it. A booking or block added this way reaches Airbnb, Booking.com and the others on their next calendar check, which can take a few hours.
